SMSL Meeting Jan 21 2008

Los Agaves, 7:00

Paul, Calderon, Solomon, Bundy, Turner, Vanderkolk, Arogundade, Pursur, Jiminez


1.  Reviewed minutes from previous meeting.

2.  Season to start March 16.  Draft on either March 8 or 9.
Play Mother's Day Saturday the 10th.  
Done June 22.
Play at Centennial. 
Solomon to call Park District.

3.  Registrar- Agirbas has resigned.   Jiminez appointed.  

4.  Field Committee formed- will make sure fields are lined, nets in place, etc.  
Arogundade and Turner are committee.

5.  Solomon to pursue PayPal for Spring registration.

6.  $2,200 balance on hand, with unpaid player registrations fees still owed.

7.  Paul to send out collections letters to unpaid from Fall 07.  Board felt unpaid should 
not be allowed to play for Sprig 07 until debt is satisfied.

8.  Need sponsors.  Have Los Agaves and CML.

9.  Solomon to make a promotional flyer for Soccer World.  

10 Spring season to have 8 or 10 teams with a possible European Cup theme.  

Captains may include Bundy and Turner.

11.  Turner to spend $300 or so on good game balls.

12.  Request made to add lost and found section to Web site.

13.  Ref committee formed.  Calderon, Jiminez, Purser.  Will look at a number of issues 
including expanding referree pool.  Report to be made next meeting.  

14.  Vanderkolk to organize field marshals.

Next meeting Feb 18, 2008.
