SMSL Meeting 7/14/08

1.  President's responsibilities-  
Shirts will be handled by Bundy
Game cancellations- Calderon
Sponsors- Calderon

2.  Sponsorship discussion-  
Discussed approaching AIG
Discussed idea of freelance sponsorship generator working for League on commission
Calderon to talk with Kimsey, Cavanagh, Vanderkolk, Juren and others

3.  Treasuer's report-
$1,111.70 on hand plus another $500 or so of Spring money at Marine account and on Paypal

4.  Registration cutoff-
Leave it run until the 24th even it if overfills.  First 102 (6 teams times 17 players) to sign up get drafted.  After that, no guarantee a player will get in.
Voted in 4-2 (Arogundade, Purser)

5.  Develop master list of all non paids from previous sessions.

6.  Policy on non payment-
Registrar to collect funds
Pay by the draft
Not paid by the draft, not eligible to be drafted.

7.  Jacksonville-
Jacksonville cannot come in as a team.  Jacksonville players are welcome and encouraged to sign up individually.

8.  Secretary to develop By Laws for Board's consideration at a future meeting.

9.  Fall Ceremony Committee-
Committee formed:  Purser, Bundy, Vanderkolk

10-.  Bundy to investigate use of SASA fields

11.  Captains-
Jose Carlos, Bundy, Calderon, Vanderkolk, Kutscher, Fletcher, Dickenson are potential captains

12.  Draft-
Draft will be Monday July 28 7:00 at Casa de Jose Carlos.
